Napier Attractions & Activities - Hawke's Bay Region
We are a 5-minute walk from Napier town where you will find restaurants, Ocean Spa Hot Pools and the National Aquarium of New Zealand.
Marine Parade is the place to be in February for the Art Deco Festival held every year as this is where the Vintage Cars arrive and park and the old Tiger Moth airplanes fly along the beachfront.
A great way to explore both the city and beachfront is by bicycle, which can be hired at the ice cream shop opposite our bed and breakfast. There is a beachside walking and cycling track opposite Manor on Parade that will take you to Ahuriri seaside village (approximately 20min walk). Here you will find many waterfront cafés and bars, art galleries and boutique stores.
We highly recommend you visit the The Old Church - it is a restaurant set amongst the vines with stunning views of the Ruahines, Kawekas and the setting sun. The unswerving attention to detail and luxurious décor make this a stunning Hawke's Bay landmark.
The Mission Estate Winery is also worth visiting. You can arrange a trip to the cellar door which provides an opportunity to try the extensive range of wines or you can take a historic walk and enjoy lunch or dinner in the renowned Mission restaurant. The adjoining Chapel also provides the ideal venue for a pituresque wedding reception or conference.
